If you are an outdoor enthusiast and haven’t been to Utah, then you’ve been missing out. Utah is home to a host of beautiful landscapes, national parks, and challenging terrain. Of the numerous attractions afforded by the state of Utah, there is none more iconic than Delicate Arch, found in Moab. Moab, Utah is home to beautiful red rock formations that make hiking, mountain biking, and off-roading a dream.
On our visit to Moab, we were able to white-water raft the Colorado and Green Rivers with Adrift Adventuring. This exhilarating experience allowed us to enjoy the sun and blue skies of central Utah as well the picturesque canyons and red rock cliffs that make Utah such a unique trip. And if you’re not into water adventures, there are plenty of other options that are perfect for the whole family as well as the adrenaline-seeker: skydiving, hiking, rock-climbing, canyoneering, jeeping, and most anything else you can imagine doing in the outdoors.
After a long day of exercise and outdoor adventuring, we retreating to the small town of Moab, home to about 5,000 people, to relax and enjoy our evening. We ate dinner at the Broken Oar Restaurant, which was recommended to us as being the best dining in Moab. This steakhouse definitely lived up to the hype, and those sweet potato fries did as well.
Moab, Utah is definitely up there with Tahoe, Jackson, and the Grand Canyon as a must-visit travel destination for anyone who loves the outdoors.
